MA in Archeology and Ancient Near Eastern Cultures is a unique program, allowing students from across the globe to study the archaeology of the Land of the Bible, IN the Land of the Bible. Throughout the duration of the program, students gain a unique perspective into the country’s perplexing and complex past via theoretical classes, ancient languages, field work experience, and guided tours to some of Israel’s most renowned excavation sites, and while using the most up-to-date, modern and scientific research tools. Student who successfully complete the one-year MA program, may apply to a second year thesis track to continue their studies with our department, which has been ranked first in Israel and one of the leading archaeological departments in the world. This is a unique opportunity for students who are interested in archaeology and the Ancient Near East to study with some of the leading archaeological researchers in the field, as well as to develop a professional/academic career within the archaeological field.
