With our program matchmaker, finding a course of study that matches your interests and needs is now easier than ever.
Step 1: Choose your Program Type (Jewish Studies, Gap Year, Post College, Study Abroad, Volunteer), Duration (less than 6 months to 9+ months), and preferred language.
Step 2: Apply to your program of choice. Each program has its own application requirements (including deadlines, which may differ from program to program), which can be found on the program’s website. If an application does not appear on the page, you may contact the program’s organizer.
Step 3: Apply for your Masa Israel grant and/or scholarship. Did you know that all Masa Israel participants are eligible to apply for funding towards their education? We have many universal and need-based scholarships available.
Step 4: Check with your home university to make sure the credits from your program abroad transfer. If you have specific questions regarding credit transfers you should contact your university in Israel directly and work closely with your home university.
Step 5: Pin down the logistics. The university in Israel will be in touch to help you get your travel visa, insurance, and arrange for your housing and arrival.
Step 6: Begin your journey! Before you embark on a life-changing experience as a Masa Academic Fellow, make sure to follow us on Instagram (@MasaIsrael) and lookout for the hashtag #MyMasa to see what your soon-to-be friends are up to in Israel. The opportunities in Israel with Masa are endless - from Mega Events to Marathons, trips around the country, and the Masa Leadership Academy - the possibilities are endless.
